In conjunction with the American Legion, remembrance ceremonies will begin at 10 AM down at Woodside Cemetary at the Veterans Memorial. All are welcome to join the ceremony to pay tribute to our local veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Help the Ladies Auxiliary with Operation Care Package! The project will benefit our our deployed soldiers to show our support and let them know someone is still thinking about them while they are defending our country! Before the Middletown High School Girls Varsity Soccer team took the field on Sept 11, 2014, students, veterans and the community remembered all who had fallen that day in 2001. During the pre-game ceremony, veterans from VFW Post 3809 were recoginized for their service by ladies from both the Middletown High School and Lakota West Varsity Girls Soccer team.

It's that time of year to renew your VFW membership for 2015. Membership dues are due by December 31, 2014. If your renewal is received after December 31st, a late fee will apply.
Dues for the 2015 year:
Regular Membership & Booster Membership: $35.00; Late Fee: $5.00
Ladies Auxiliary Renewal Membership: $25.00; Late Fee: $1.00
Ladies Auxiliary New Membership: $30.00
Men's Auxiliary Membership: $35.00; Late Fee: $10.00
