In September, the Ladies Auxiliary member Kathy Muterspaw along with donations from members put together and raffled off two baskets. The Ohio State basket was won by Rick Cornelle, and the Bengals basket was won by Mike Krixan. Basket proceeds were split with Middletown High School Wrestling team and the Ladies Auxiliary. Thank you to everyone for your support!

Each year the Ladies Auxiliary sponsor's a Creative Patriotic Award. While no particular theme is set each year like the Voice of Democracy or Patriot's Pen Awards, each creative art piece should have a true Patriotic American Theme.

It's that time of year to renew your VFW membership for 2015. Membership dues are due by December 31, 2014. If your renewal is received after December 31st, a late fee will apply.
Dues for the 2015 year:
Regular Membership & Booster Membership: $35.00; Late Fee: $5.00
Ladies Auxiliary Renewal Membership: $25.00; Late Fee: $1.00
Ladies Auxiliary New Membership: $30.00
Men's Auxiliary Membership: $35.00; Late Fee: $10.00

Middletown will host its Fourth of July Parade, themed "All Star salute to America" The parade lineup will be at 9 a.m., with the parade beginning promptly at 10 a.m. Participants are encouraged to register for the event, which will begin at 14th Avenue and Verity Parkway. The parade route ends at Smith Park, where an award ceremony for floats and participants in the parade will follow.
